Greetings Sisters of Beautiful Savior!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Fall Season of WINGS, Women in God’s Service. The enclosed brochure will give you a glimpse of the programs that are on the calendar this year. We try to offer a variety of events for the women of Beautiful Savior and encourage everyone to attend. Our mission is to “Invite a Friend” to each and every one of our programs so that others can share in the beauty and camaraderie of being a part of our wonderful church. We hope that through this outreach, women can find their “home” at Beautiful Savior.
Being a part of the WINGS group has been an incredible blessing for me. When I retired a few years ago, I wanted to find a way to participate and “give back” to the Church that has shaped my faith foundation and the foundation of my family. WINGS has provided a wonderful circle of friends, a platform for serving others, and social events that are both fun and meaningful. We meet at 12:30 the first Wednesday of every month, October through June, Circles meet monthly on various days of the week, and we are always looking for new ideas and new women to join us!
Hebrews 13:16 says “And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.” Being a part of WINGS allows us to not only “do good and share” but allows us to have a great time and enjoy the fellowship of others. Please come and enjoy these gifts from God with us!
