Orchestra Sono Piano Trio

Come enjoy a wonderful evening of music. This is a non-ticketed event, but there will be a free will offering.

Orchestra Sono provides educational and entertaining experiences for community members of all ages, focusing on the “next generation” of audience participants, as well as exciting experiences for the seasoned concert-goer. 

Classics, Coffee, & Cake

Sundays, May 5 1:00 p.m.

Alexander Zonjic & Friends come together to share the classics in a Sunday afternoon concert series. Come enjoy marvelous music and delicious desserts.

The May 5 concert will be Music for Two Flutes and Piano, featuring Vivaldi and Doppler.Musicians in attendance will be Alexander Zonjic (flute),  Amanda Blaikie (flute) and Julie Steinmayer (piano) 

​

The concerts are FREE to the public, though good will offerings will be accepted.

Joseph Walters

Friday, May 17 7:00 p.m.

Come enjoy a wonderful evening of music. This is a non-ticketed event, but there will be a free will offering with a suggested donation of $10 per person.

​

Joseph Walters, born and raised in Michigan, earned his graduate degree in music at

Oakland University in piano performance studying under Dr. Tian Tian. Joseph has participated in several music festivals, been a recipient of many awards, and has been a finalist in international competitions in the past. He is a two-time winner of the Oakland University Concerto Competition, where he performed concertos by Rachmaninoff and Beethoven with the orchestra. Currently, he has his own private teaching studio and works as a collaborative pianist, including being the choir pianist at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

On June 9 the music of  Claude Bolling, Telemann and Piazolla will be performed by Alexander Zonjic (flute),  Julie Steinmayer (piano) and Terry Herald (guitar)

Internationally known for innovative and inspiring hymn festivals and for creative work with children, Michael Burkhardt is in frequent demand as a choral clinician, organ recitalist, and hymn festival leader.

​

Michael is composer of three settings of the Eucharistic liturgy, A New Song, Missa St. Andrew, and Missa Mixolydian as well as numerous organ improvisations, choral octavos and handbell compositions, available through MorningStar Music Publishers, Choristers Guild, Concordia Publishing House, Augsburg Fortress Publishers, GIA Music Publishers, and AGEHR.
