Are you exhausted waiting for good news, or do you know someone who is? Simeon and Anna waited in the Jerusalem Temple to someday encounter the Savior sent by God. It must have felt like an eternity for them. Finally, aged in years, they encountered the Christ Child when Mary and Joseph brought Jesus for his dedication. Today, we consider the times we waited, or still are waiting, for a glimmer of good news, and we see how the example of Simeon and Anna’s faithful patience can guide us in those exhausting times.
