If you would like to join one of the many teams that are helping to make our many forms of worship possible, your help is certainly appreciated. Please contact Deborah in our church office at email@example.com or 248-646-5041 and she will gladly connect you with one of the teams that make worship happen each week.

Landscaping: Spring is right around the corner. Are you interested in adopting a flower bed or joining the team that maintains the Columbarium garden? We are in need of 6 new volunteers for these projects.
Feed the Hungry: We are currently working with Lighthouse to assist the homeless during 2021.
Prayer Team: Each Sunday morning, the Prayer Team, in their own spaces, prays for the mission of our church, for our worship team and for worship itself. They pray for all of those who watch or participate and they ask the Holy Spirit to bless all who worship with us and to guide those who have yet to meet Christ into ministry. If you would like to join the team in slots between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., please contact the church office.
9:00 a.m. Indoor Ushers: We are now offering 30 minute private training sessions for new ushers at your convenience. We will teach you how to help open the sanctuary, distribute our sealed Holy Communion kits, and seat/dismiss the congregation. We have put new sanitary measures in place to keep you and our members/guests safer and healthier. Current ushers may schedule themselves HERE.
9:00 a.m. Worship Greeters: Choose your location. One greeter is needed for the welcome desk to say hello and answer any questions. Two Sanctuary door greeters check people in to keep an accurate record of worshippers for contact tracing and capacity purposes. You can train on the job any Sunday morning at 8:40 a.m. Simply let us know ahead of time that you would like to train for this. Current greeters may schedule themselves HERE.
Bulletin Board Designers: We have the information and the supplies. You have the inspiration! This is an occasional volunteer opportunity that can be done on your schedule. Now that we are regathering in the building, let’s utilize our bulletin boards to give our members and guests the information they need to be better connected.
10:30 a.m. Outdoor Ushers: Our parking lot worship offers a simple, easy place to volunteer while still maintaining physical distancing. Simply count our number of worshippers, take any offerings in a basket provided and, if you are physically able, help with clean up. We will train you any Sunday morning that is convenient for you.
