Special Congregational Meeting

Dear Members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church,

Throughout this call process, we have prayed for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as the Call Committee discerned whom to recommend as our next Associate Pastor. We are grateful for the committee’s diligence, prayerfulness, and faithful work.

That process has now reached an important next step. The Call Committee voted unanimously to recommend The Reverend Diane K. Greble to the Church Council as its candidate for Associate Pastor, and the Church Council also voted unanimously to bring that recommendation to the congregation.

Last Sunday’s Meet & Greet gave members of the congregation an opportunity to meet Pastor Greble, begin getting acquainted, and ask questions.

This email serves as official notice to the voting members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church that a special congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, March 22, at 10:10 a.m. in the Welcome Center.

At that meeting, the congregation will consider two matters, both to be decided by ballot:

• Whether to extend a call to Pastor Greble to serve as Associate Pastor of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

• Whether to approve the increase in expenses necessary to provide compensation for this pastoral position.

Your presence and participation are important as we take this significant step together in the life of our congregation.
