Join our partner in ministry fight hunger! St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church (the church located across from BSLC on Adams Rd.) is working with Rise Against Hunger to host a meal packaging event at their church this fall. They are planning to host the event on Saturday, September 24, 2022 10am - noon. They will then host a celebratory lunch for all the volunteers. Their goal is to package 10,000 meals that day.
You can volunteer! Please consider helping St. Stephen package the meals. Many hands make short work. You can RSVP to the event HERE and we will make sure St. Stephen's has your information.
You can also help fund the effort! Please consider making a financial contribution, either individually or as a group, to help them defray the costs of the ingredients and other raw materials. Donations of any amount are welcome and can be made by contacting St. Stephen's office at (248) 346-4126.
