Beautiful Savior is finalizing the membership of our “Regathering Task Force.” This is a selection of five Beautiful Savior members who represent a spectrum of our congregation’s experiences, backgrounds, and viewpoints. The group is tasked with reviewing the myriad of options we have available for ways that we can once again gather for worship in person. We continue to be blessed by a great team of people who are filming and producing online worship, and it has become a valuable ministry to many of us. However, we might also be able to offer things such as a drive-in worship opportunity, an outdoor gathering, something indoors, or a combination of a variety of these methods. We will share updates with you as we proceed with our research, keeping in mind the delicate balance between prioritizing safety as well as our God-given design to be in the presence of other people.
A key part of whatever our next worship phase looks like is a recognition that things will feel a bit closer to normal, but still be slightly different just temporarily. This difference is a result of safety measures and other steps we will take to keep our neighbors and ourselves as safe as possible. Essentially, it will be a matter of bending, but not breaking. We’ll bend a little for a while, but not break since we are the people of God, strengthened by the Holy Spirit, who are called to gather with one another as we love God and love our neighbors.

Email Filters
In the last few weeks, there has been a large increase in emails bouncing back to the church. Therefore, we would like to get ahead of this potential situation and recommend the following. Please be sure to add office@bslcmi.org to your e-mail address book/safe lists and let us know if you stop receiving our updates. Yahoo and Comcast e-mail addresses seem to be particularly sensitive to this problem. Contact Deborah Robitaille in the church office if you have any questions.
New Congregational Website
Please take a look at this new presentation of Beautiful Savior to witness how Meredith Bezak’s professional background has taken our online presence to a new level. Also, you may wish to refresh your computer cache and make sure that your computer recognizes the website as safe since we previously had some issues with it that have now been addressed. Please also note that the link to online worship listed below is now different from what we previously used; in other words, it’s important to click on this link and not one from a previous email.
