Members of the fledging group of Jesus’s followers were working tirelessly to catch fish, but with no success. Then, they took Jesus’s guidance and succeeded more than their wildest dreams. Similarly, when the church is doing the work of Jesus, fishing for people and sharing the good news with those of every nation, we do best when we listen to Jesus for guidance.
