Jonah was not too excited about warning his enemies of their impending doom. Still, he eventually followed God’s call and prophesied against them. Surprisingly, they apologized to God for their ways – they repented. By comparison, we hear of Jesus’s close followers enthusiastically claiming they would follow Jesus to death, though within a few short hours, they ran and fled.
