The red flashing flames symbolizing the Holy Spirit fill the worship space on the Day of Pentecost as the flames and tongues of fire and rushing wind filled the Upper Room and filled those first followers of Jesus. This is the birthday of the Church, the time when the Holy Spirit breathed life and power into the Body of Christ.
