July 5, 2026 Summer in the Psalms: “Fools Ignore God”

Psalm 14 describes the fool as someone who denies God and lives a corrupt life, leading to fear and ultimately destruction. Similarly, Matthew 7:24-27 portrays a foolish builder who hears Jesus’s teachings but does not act on them, resulting in their “house” (life) collapsing during trials, just as building on sand leads to a weak foundation that cannot withstand storms.
