January 26, 2025 Jesus’s Early Ministry: “Jesus’s Inaugural Sermon”

When Jesus opened his mouth to preach, gracious words flowed from his lips. The Scriptures are, indeed, fulfilled in our hearing of them, as Jesus explained. He further made clear how his earthly ministry was one of setting captives free from the chains binding them, just as Jesus’s liberation of humanity continues through the work of Jesus’s church.
