Mission and Purpose
The Beautiful Savior Endowment Fund is an opportunity to make a lasting contribution to Beautiful Savior’s mission by providing a stable long-term source of funding for programs and projects outside of the congregation’s operating budget. All gifts to the endowment support the church’s mission in perpetuity, thereby creating a legacy of giving for each donor.
The endowment furthers our mission to know Jesus better, and to make Jesus known to others, by:
Launching and enhancing ministries directly tied to Beautiful Savior’s mission.
Helping to finance the development of Beautiful Savior’s campus.
Empowering the work of Beautiful Savior beyond the doors of the building.
Endowment Basics
An endowment is a separate fund of the church that invests gifts and uses the income generated to make focused grants (distributions) to further Beautiful Savior’s mission.
Gifts to an endowment are preserved and protected. They become the “principal” or “corpus” of the fund and are never distributed or spent down.
The accumulated investment earnings of the endowment corpus are used to fund strategic ministry opportunities on an ongoing basis.
All endowment funds are invested and professionally managed under a long-term investment strategy designed to produce a return that ensures the positive and perpetual impact of the endowment on Beautiful Savior’s mission.
