Jesus called twelve common people to be his first followers who did uncommon things to change the world. This week, we learn about Philip, a seeing-is-believing kind of guy. He wanted proof, and he wanted to know the plan. Philip is very much like those of us who have heard too many false promises and are hesitant to invest until we are convinced fully in a person or a thing.
