August 3, 2025 Twelve Common People: James The Little

Jesus called twelve common people to be his first followers who did uncommon things to change the world. This week, we learn about James, different from the one whose brother was John. He was an original apostle about whom we know very little. He carries the title “the lesser” due to his being younger or shorter in height than James, the Son of Zebedee. Today, we will remember how those who are obscure or overlooked can have just as much impact for the good as those the world most notices.
