August 23, 2026 Summer in the Psalms: “God Will Protect”

Psalm 121 trusts the LORD as the keeper of Israel, the One who watches over every going out and coming in. In John 17, Jesus prayed for his followers, asking the Father to protect them, keep them in the truth, and send them into the world. Together, these readings remind us God’s protection does not remove us from the world, but rather keeps us in God’s care as we live faithfully within it.
