2023 Stewardship
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
James 1:27

Reconnecting with
God
Beautiful Savior focuses on knowing God, the Creator of the Universe, who walked the Earth in the person of Jesus Christ. The stories of life transformations through our congregation are overwhelming and humbling.
This year, we can invest in enhancing our worship experience with more leadership participation and guest musicians. We need to improve Christian Education for people of all ages, including resuming high school Sunday School after half a decade, and adding more opportunities for adults to learn about the Bible and its life application. There will be a renewed emphasis on praying and teaching people to pray, enabled by our Prayer Team of over 100 participants and the addition of the Service of the Word for Wholeness.
An additional investment of $300 per week will help us connect and reconnect with God through small group support, spirituality retreats, and Bible studies.

Each Other
Beautiful Savior’s members care for each other. It’s been difficult to stay connected with friends in meaningful ways recently, but our congregation’s focus on those connections is paying dividends that would make Wall Street jealous.
Our Care Ministries Team will move at full steam, increasing regular contacts with members and non-members. Stephen Ministry is active again and needs our support to flourish. We will bring Holy Communion and meals (spiritual and physical food) to a growing number of people. We again have active youth groups for children of all ages led by two staff and an expanded team of volunteers. More get-togethers are happening and small groups help people love God and their neighbors better.
An additional investment of $305 per week will help us connect and reconnect with each other by providing the funding needed for additional youth events, fellowship activities, and member care.

Our Neighbors
Beautiful Savior makes a positive difference in lives. That is why we are increasing our emphasis on evangelism and outreach like resuming direct mail marketing. We’re learning new ways to connect online with people and invite them to meet us in person.
Our revived BSLC Concert Series is drawing talented musicians and music lovers as we become a center for the arts. Beautiful Savior has increased giving to others as those needs continue to grow. Our goal is to share a minimum of 10% of our income (the biblical definition of a “tithe”) with our mission partners. We are one of the few congregations growing in size in the area as people seek a community that cares for others in Jesus’s name.
An additional $290 weekly will fund outreach events and community needs, enabling us to build connections and reconnections with our neighbors.
