Contemporary Sunday Worship Service

Forgiveness is one of the easiest words to throw around and yet one of the hardest things to practice. Part of the challenge is that we can find ourselves confused about what forgiveness really is and what it is not. This five-week worship series seeks to dive into this topic that is essential to the Christian faith. We will examine the nature of forgiveness, dispel myths about it, and even talk about one of its most difficult aspects – actually receiving forgiveness and knowing that we are forgiven. Time will be spent on how to heal broken relationships, the compatibility of forgiveness and the death penalty, and ways that we might bless our enemies. This series should prove to be thought-provoking, especially in our world that finds itself bitterly divided and often absent of grace and mercy.
