Beautiful Savior Children and Youth Ministry Visioning Session
Wednesday, August 19, 2020 – 7:00 p.m.
We invite parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, and many others to a large-group visioning session by Zoom about Children and Youth Ministry with Beautiful Savior on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m. Our goal is to get a clearer sense of how God is inspiring us to proceed with stewarding well the spiritual development of the youngest people amongst us. Specifically, we will be discussing questions centered around staffing opportunities. The following three questions with structure our conversation:
What should be the results/goals of a successful ministry for children who are from the age of birth through 5th Grade?
What should be the results/goals of a successful ministry for youth who are from the age of 6th Grade (including catechism/confirmation) through young adult (up to about 22 years old)?
What characteristics do you most hope to see in a person or people who would be in staffed/paid ministry to serve people from birth through young adult age?
These three questions will provide the structure of our conversation, which I will limit to 45 minutes in an effort to honor everyone’s stretched schedules. If someone is unable to take part in this Zoom conversation, answers to the questions can be emailed to me at prnik@bslcmi.org. It will be helpful to receive the answers by 12 noon on Thursday, August 20, 2020.
