Mark 9:2-9 – Transfiguration
This Week We are looking into Mark 9:2-9 to gain a deeper understanding of the Transfiguration of Our Lord. The Transfiguration is one of those events in Jesus’s earthly life that are difficult to understand, and yet as people who have faith that seeks more understanding, we tackle it every year on the last Sunday before Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent. This Brief Bible Dive will only scratch the surface on one part of the story, and the sermon during this upcoming Sunday worship will focus on another aspect so as to present a more complete picture.
