Our 11:15 a.m. Sunday gathering will be looking different for the balance of the summer. We’ll be meeting in the Welcome Center in a face covering optional setting. The time together will be shaped by what individuals bring to it – kind of like a spiritual potluck. Please pray into the gathering time. See what God might have for us, and come ready to share.

  • Is it a song? Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord. I’m sure we can find the song on YouTube or Spotify to play in our midst. Try to bring a copy of the words so we can sing along. (Come early and we can make copies in the church office.)
  • Is it a testimony? We overcome this world by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. What has God been doing in your world? Encourage us by sharing how God has shown himself strong on your behalf.
  • Is it a scripture? Jesus said, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” What word of God has the Holy Spirit been bringing to life in you? How has it impacted your daily living? Let’s chat about that.

Come ready to pray for one another, our local and global church, our communities, our leaders in our state and country, and our world. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much.

On Sunday, September 12, we will resume our weekly contemporary-style worship at 11:15 a.m. For those who have an interest in being part of the worship team that will help lead contemporary-style worship, please contact Julie Steinmayer at jsteinmayer@bslcmi.org or 248-646-5041.
