Rosie the Riveter: Her Story Told

Come find out about Rosie the Riveter and the importance of her role (and all women’s) during WWII.  Rosie worked right around the corner at Willow Run.

Dessert will be served.  Friends and family (and men!) will enjoy this evening.  Bring along your family’s Rosie the Riveter stories and memorabilia.  If you know a “Rosie” bring her along as our honorary guest.  Wear a Rosie costume and receive a door prize!

Children’s Hour with Rosie

From 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. adult and children will enjoy a child-friendly supper while they learn about Rosie, and how women’s roles in our world have changed through the years.  Our presenter is a teacher and will adapt her presentation to the ages of our girls and boys who attend.  Reserve spots for children and a family member as you purchase a $10 family dinner reservation.  Reservations will be made between services on Sundays with Kathy Lewis.
