Our Stephen Ministers provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to help people facing crises or life challenges. A Stephen Minister is a congregation member with at least 50 hours of training in providing emotional and spiritual care who will “be there” for you with support, prayer, friendship, and encouragement. If you would like the care and support of a Stephen Minister, or would like to consider becoming a Stephen Minister, please contact the church office @ 248-646-5041 and you will be directed to the appropriate person.
“Therefore pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of the believer is powerful and effective.” –James 5:16
Prayer is an integral part of our ministry at Beautiful Savior. Our prayer chapel is dedicated to prayer and mediation with supportive materials available. All members are invited to pray for one another and for those who are known to need prayer outside the church. In addition, for any prayer requests made to the church, there is weekly prayer in the chapel and a prayer chain for those needing immediate support. All prayer requests are kept confidential. If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please visit our Prayer Request on the home page and throughout our website.
Classes and workshops are offered on prayer and there is a Service of the Word for Healing on the second Saturday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
Helping Hands Ministry
We assist those in our church community who are in need by providing meals, transportation and other services.
Eucharist ministers are also available to share the Eucharistic with those who are in health care facilities or are homebound.
If we can provide any of these services to you, or someone you know, please contact the church office @ 248-646-5041.
Young Families Ministry
Moms Making Meals
There is great interest in gathering to assemble “do-ahead” meals together! We will be launching this in February of 2016. If you’d like to help “write the recipe” for Moms Making Meals, please jot Kathy Lewis a quick email at email@example.com . We want this to be a fun and functional get-together time! We need your big-picture vision, your tasty recipes and a generous pinch of passion as we organize.
Prison Ministers process Bible lessons (provided by Crossroad Bible Institute) and write letters of Christian encouragement to incarcerated individuals all over America—a wonderful opportunity to touch sincere seekers, struggling to build a new life in Christ. If you would like to become involved in this program, please contact Kathy Moede @ 248-646-5041.
A gambler’s anonymous group meets weekly at Beautiful Savior Church on Monday evenings at 7:30 p.m. If you would like to learn more about this group or to join it, please contact the church office @ 248-646-5041.
